Amy Paul, a medical student at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, is partnering with Housing Forward, an organization that serves individuals experiencing homelessness. Through this partnership, she will work to expand medical care and develop health education programming for the community. These programs will strive to improve the health of Housing Forward’s clients and build relationships of trust between Loyola’s medical team and individuals living in homelessness. Amy hopes to raise $4,000 for medical equipment, wellness materials, and various other supplies.

Each year family, friends, and the community come together to support Schweitzer Fellows as they begin to implement innovative public service projects in Chicago’s most vulnerable communities. Our 2020-21 Fellows have created online “wish lists” of supplies and resources that will help them realize their service project goals.
